Healing and Promoting Health Through Qigong

Qigong (“chee-gong”) is a holistic exercise that originated thousands of years ago in China.  In Qigong practice, one uses the power of the mind in unison with postures and movements of the body to heal and promote health.  Qigong creates a healthy mind, body, and spirit by cultivating the internal energy called Qi.

According to Chinese medicine, Qi is the very essence of life.  Qi is the medium that links the mind, body, and spirit into an integrated functional system.  When the flow of Qi in the body is plentiful and strong, so is the ability to heal illnesses and increase health.

There are numerous forms of Qigong taught throughout the world today.  Zhineng Qigong was developed by Dr. Pang He Ming, one of the pioneer grandmasters who opened the Qigong secrets to the general public.  Trained in Eastern and Western medicine, Dr. Pang studied the various forms of Qigong throughout China before creating what he found to be the most easily learned and beneficial system of Qigong. At the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Center, which he founded as the world’s largest Qigong hospital, more than 100,000 patients with 180 different diseases have been “treated” with daily Qigong practice – at an overall success rate of 95 percent.

Zhineng Qigong consists of visualizations combined with a series of gentle movements that are designed to dissolve blockages so natural chi can flow vigorously through the body bringing life energy to every cell.  Without blockages, we become balanced, healthy, joyous, and full of energy and vitality, not just free from illness or disease!  Zhineng Qigong is easy to learn at any age, and can be adapted to all levels of physical ability.  Even persons with severe disabilities can receive its benefits.  Zhineng Qigong has been shown to reduce stress, relieve chronic pain, strengthen the body, stimulate the immune system, increase blood circulation & cardiovascular fitness, improve creativity and mental clarity, relieve insomnia and develop emotional well-being.  It is especially beneficial for anyone recovering from serious illness or chronic conditions, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, auto-immune disorders, arthritis and many others. Zhineng Qigong is the most widely practiced Medical Qigong in China today. Why? Because it works!
